Your room will be ready from 15:00 on the day of arrival and until 11:00 on the day of departure.

Our reception is open from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 20:00 and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 to 17:00. It is located in the Altes Museum building at Goetheplatz 3.

If you are unable to arrive until after 17:00 or 20:00, please inform us in good time.

A later arrival is also possible by mutual agreement. 

Unless otherwise stated, all prices are per room and night including breakfast buffet. 

We are happy to provide you with a double room as a single room for an additional charge. In our online booking system, double rooms that can be booked as single rooms are automatically suggested to you. For extra nights or advance bookings in combination with an arrangement, you will receive a discount of € 10 per person per night on the regular room rate.

For less than 2 nights on weekends and public holidays we charge an additional surcharge of:
5 € per person & night for an overnight stay from Friday to Saturday and
10 € per person & night for an overnight stay from Saturday to Sunday.

In addition, the town of Bad Berleburg charges a visitor's tax of € 1.70 per person per night from the age of 18. This is to be paid on departure.

Please settle your bill in cash, by EC card or MasterCard/VISA.
 

Infants sleep in a cot for €10 per night.
Children up to 3 years stay free of charge in the parents' bed.
Children from 4 - 10 years stay in the parents' room in an extra bed for 20 € including breakfast.
Children from 11 years 30,- €.

For your holiday with dog in our hotel, there are four cosy rooms with oak country house floorboards and, depending on the category, a free-standing bath tub available in the main house Alte Schule. Three rooms can be reached from the courtyard with their own entrance. Your four-legged friend is also welcome in parts of our breakfast area.

Dogs stay with us from € 10 per night and pet - master and mistress cost extra!

Please indicate when booking that you are travelling with a dog. You can find more information about holidays with dogs here.

We are happy to accommodate your allergies within the scope of our possibilities and provide bedding suitable for allergies. Dogs are only allowed in our four courtyard rooms and parts of the breakfast area. 

If you have food intolerances or a special diet, please let us know in good time so that we can adapt to your needs.

Our entire hotel building, including all rooms, is a non-smoking area! In case of violations, you will incur costs for additional cleaning as well as possible losses in the subsequent rental of the room.

In the rooms of the guest houses Alte Schule and Altes Museum a hot water heater with coffee and tea is included.

The use of our in-house parking spaces is free of charge for all guests.

Are you traveling with an electric car? Then you will be pleased to know that you can conveniently charge your car directly at the hotel: On our parking lot behind the main house Alte Schule you will find 2 green electricity charging stations. 

Billing is based on consumption at 69 cent/kWh. If you would like to charge your car, simply let us know at reception and the costs incurred will be added to your room bill.

You are welcome to inform us of your "charging request" at the time of booking, so that we can reserve appropriate time slots when several guests with e-cars are vacationing with us. 

A large coffee machine is available in the lobby of the Hotel Altes Museum, which is accessible with your room key. Here you can enjoy various coffee and tea specialities as well as cold drinks, beer and wine specialities. The drinks are available to all guests of the Hotel Altes Museum, the Alte Schule, the Fliegendes Klassenzimmer and our holiday flats.
